An exciting opportunity has recently become available for an experienced ARCO to join our dynamic and growing organisation in a full-time capacity. Working within our Aviation team, the successful candidate will implement, provide guidance and continually improve management of Aviation security, safety and operational regulatory compliance in accordance with federal legislation relating to Townsville Airport.

How will you make an impact?
The ideal candidate will bring strong aviation operations knowledge, or a background in risk, safety, compliance or project management in a high regulated environment with proven reporting experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will be adept at building effective stakeholder relationships and supporting the Operations and Standards Manager to ensure Townsville Airport’s compliance with the Airport Manual and relevant CASA regulations, including regulatory compliance, airspace protection, and operational risk management.
Key deliverables/responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support aviation regulatory compliance and risk management activities, ensuring alignment with legislative and operational requirements.
- Coordinate and maintain the aviation document suite, ensuring accuracy, currency and consistency across key operational manuals and systems.
- Deliver aviation safety and security training and support key programs including SMS, AEP and TSP.
- Provide administrative and coordination support across aviation operations, including secretariat support for key committees, meetings and operational activities.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while supporting projects, operational initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
