An exciting opportunity has recently become available for an Aerodrome Reporting and Maintenance Officer (ARMO) to join our Mount Isa Aviation team. This role is diverse with a focus on ensuring aviation safety and security integrity of the airport and effectiveness of service provided to our customers.
The ARMO position has a unique 4-week rotating roster to assist in maintaining a healthy work life balance.

How will you make an impact?
We are looking for a new team member that have a passion for the aviation industry and have a strong safety mindset. Candidates must possess a current Driver's Licence and have the ability to obtain a Firearms Licence and an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
The successful applicant will have excellent planning and priority management skills. A general understanding of laws and regulations as well as experience in airside operations is desirable, however the right candidate will be enthusiastic about the aviation industry and can be provided all training once commenced in the position.
Key deliverables/responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the safe and secure operation of the airside environment in accordance with relevant regulations and company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Supporting all stakeholders and airline partners by maintaining aerodrome serviceability.
- Management of impediments to aircraft operations such as wildlife and other hazards.
- Working outdoors in the elements to undertake grounds and general maintenance activities as part of the Maintenance component of the position.
- Ensuring all grounds are kept in an orderly and tidy manner and in compliance with airport operating and safety requirements.
- Record operations log entries daily, highlighting incidents to be reported.
