What you’ll contribute to:

You will champion Queensland Airports Limited’s aviation and commercial strategy across Asia, nurturing opportunities into tangible outcomes. Through your collaborative approach and commitment to building strong relationships, you will help foster the growth and sustainability of international passenger and freight services, enhancing the competitiveness and overall performance of QAL airports.

How will you make an impact?

By building trusted, senior‑level relationships with airline decision‑makers across Asia, you will influence network planning and capacity deployment decisions that deliver new routes, increased frequencies, larger gauge aircraft and improved schedules. Through compelling, data‑driven business cases and proactive market engagement, you will position Queensland Airports Limited as preferred partners within airline networks while aligning airline growth with destination demand and long‑term market sustainability.

Through your experience across Asian markets and fluency in language, you will deliver compelling, data-driven business cases that position Queensland Airports Limited as preferred partners within airline networks, while aligning airline growth with destination and catchment demand for long-term market sustainability.

 

Key deliverables/responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and presenting high‑impact, data‑driven business cases to airline network, strategy and commercial teams
  • Securing sustainable passenger and freight capacity growth, including new routes, increased frequencies and enhanced aircraft deployment
  • Establishing and maintaining senior relationships with airline stakeholders across network planning, revenue management, scheduling, sales, marketing, loyalty and cargo
  • Acting as QAL’s primary commercial interface for Asian airline partners, ensuring consistent engagement, performance review and opportunity identification
  • Building strong partnerships with tourism organisations, trade and distribution partners, and government and regulatory stakeholders
  • Monitoring airline performance, fleet developments and competitor airport activity to inform proactive engagement strategies
