We’re seeking an experienced Finance Officer with solid accounts payable skills to join the QAL Finance team.  The role offers flexible work arrangements including hours, days, and work-from-home options to suit your lifestyle and commitments.

This mid-level position requires accurate, timely financial processing and a collaborative team approach.  If you’re resilient, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, you’ll thrive managing invoices, cash receipts, month-end reporting and debt handling.

How will you make an impact?

This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, highly organised and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in every task.  You’ll need excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a busy team and support shared goals.  Being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling important, recurring tasks over the long term is essential.

Key deliverables/responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Process supplier invoices received via AI invoice processing software, ensuring accuracy and completeness before importing into ERP system.
• Validate invoice data including supplier details, invoice amounts, GST treatment, cost centres and chart of accounts coding.
• Monitor and manage invoice exceptions generated by the AI system, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain professional and timely communication with suppliers to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Prepare and process bi-monthly payment runs in line with agreed schedules.
• Support timely supplier payments and compliance with Payment Times Reporting requirements.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Support training and guidance for staff on AP and PO processes as required
